Turistfälla | Isabella Löwengrips blogg

Idag sprang vi på semesterns andra turistfälla. Den första var marknaden i Phuket med hundratals olika fejkväskor, inte riktigt min grej. Och idag var det en båtfärd ut till en ö. Ön var familjevänlig och det var väl det vi nappade på i broschyren (kanske är en broschyr varningstecken nog). Hur som helst så blev vi upphämtade på hotellet och körda till andra sidan för att ta en motorbåt till ön Khai Nok. På båten dit var vi vara tio personer och ön som vi kom fram till var otroligt fin och vi matade fiskar och snorklade. Vi hann njuta i 15 minuter.

Men sen! Sedan kom tjugo båtar till med tio personer i varje och tillslut gick det inte att stå någonstans på ön att nudda någon annan. Vattnet var fullt. Hur ofta händer det? Folk slogs om skuggplatser och det var rätt obehagligt ett tag och människor bråkade. När båtarna skulle hem igen var det kaos igen men vi kom hem tillslut.

Today we ran into the second tourist trap. The first one was the market in Phuket with hundreds of different counterfeit bags, that's not really my thing. Today it was the boat ride to an island. According to the brochure (the brochure should've been a sign) it was a family friendly island and that's what caught our eye. Anyways, they picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the other side to take a boat to the island Khai Nok. There were only ten people on the boat and the island was beautiful. We snorkeled and fed the fishes and had a good time for about 15 minutes.

And then! Twenty boats with ten people in each one arrived until the island was completely crowded. It was impossible to move without touching someone else. The ocean was filled with people. How often does that happen? People were fighting over a spot in the shade and it was a bit uncomfortable watching everyone argue. It was chaos when the boats were gonna take us back but eventually we got home.

We love to go on adventures but maybe next time we'll read some reviews first. Do you guys have any tips? We live at Naiyang Beach!
