Vi bor på ett riktigt coolt hotell. Det är inget samarbete alls och det är rätt dyrt att bo här men det är värt varenda krona. Jag förstår inte hur ett hotell kan vara så pass stort! Ikväll så testade vi en ny resturang som heter Black Ginger. Vi gick på en upplyst väg tills vi kom till en entré och först förstod jag inte var vi skulle vara men sedan såg jag hovmästaren komma på en flotte. Jaha! Det är så man gör. Wow. Vi åkte över och åt fantastiskt god thaimat. Vi betalade cirka 1500 bath för allting vilket är runt 400 kronor, säkert dyrt i thailändska mått men för en middag ute för allihopa är det prisvärt i våra hotellmått.

Dom har barnmenyer på varje ställe, ingen pommes precis men milda varianter av vår thaimat. Våra barn gillar det. Sally har två tänder men käkar allt. Hon äter mer än Gillis, det bästa hon vet är kyckling. Hon håller biten i handen och gnager. Gillis har alltid varit kräsen men thaimaten smakar mer och är mer såsiga, det gillar han.

Dags att sova, tack för era tips under förresten. Odd och jag har alltid varit lite skeptiska till Phuket men vi fastnade för hotellet och så har vi hört gått om Naiyang-stranden. Vi är supernöjda. Allt är bekvämt (lite lyxigt) men barnvänligt här, de mixen passar oss perfekt.

The hotel we’re staying at is really cool. This is not part of a collaboration with the hotel and it’s pretty expensive but worth every penny. I cannot believe how big a hotel can be! Earlier tonight we went to a new restaurant called Black Ginger. The road there was lit all the way until we reached an entrance but after that I had no idea where to go. Then the head waiter arrived on a raft. So that’s how you do it! Wow. We went on the raft to the restaurant and had some amazing food. The total came to 1500 baht (about 400 kr), and that may be expensive for thai food, but with our measures it was totally worth it.

Every restaurant here has a children’s menu, not pommes frites but milder versions of thai food. Our kids love it. Sally only has two teeth but still eats everything. Chicken is her favorite and she eats more than Gillis. She’ll just hold on to the chicken leg and chew off it. Gillis has always been a picky eater but he’s liking the flavors and sauces of thai food.

Now it’s bedtime. Thank you for all the tips. Odd and me have always been a bit sceptical about going to Phuket but we liked the hotel and heard good rumors about the Naiyang beach. So far we are very pleased. Everything is easy access (a bit luxurious) and child friendly, that’s a perfect combo for us.
