Eftersom det är den näst sista dagen på denna ledighet så ville vi hitta på något roligt hela familjen. Det fick bli Junibacken! Ingen i familjen hade åkt tåget så det var himla kul att få visa dom det. Gillis var väl på gränsen att uppskatta det, han tyckte det var spännande själva grejen men han kan inte Astrids karaktärer. Sally satt nyfiken hela åkturen. Dom hade bytt ut draken i slutet till en snällare variant så inget var läskigt längre.

Hemma hos Karlsson på Taket! Junibacken är ett fint ställe och är klart värt ett besök tycker jag men i vår familj gillar vi barnavdelningen på Tekniska Museet mest. På Junibacken är det vad jag kallar "finlek". Vackra miljöer med otroliga detaljer men det finns inte så mycket att göra fysiskt. På tekniska får man testa och prova, lära sig hur allt fungerar. Den typen av utforskningslek tycker jag är roligare.

Höjdpunkten under dagen var alla båtar utanför. Här på bänken spenderade vi mest tid. Det hade varit billigare (och säkert mer poppis) att bara gå till kajen :)

Titta här! Vi köpte en box med 23 filmer. Jag insåg att jag själv inte har sett allt, Peter och Petra (?), Kalle Blomqvist, Rasmus på luffen och Nils Karlsson pyssling kan jag inte minnas att jag sett. Karlsson på Taket är dock min favorit.

Nu börjar mission : Få Gillis att gilla Astrid Lindgren så att vi slipper alla hysteriska youtube-klipp där folk leker med leksaker (Ryans Toys Review som exempel, det är dock den bästa YouTubern). Vi börjar med Pippi!

Since tomorrow is the last day of our Christmas holiday we wanted to do something fun with the whole family, so today's activity was going to Junibacken! None of us in the family had tried out their fairytale-train before so now we got a chance to ride it together. Gillis almost appreciated the ride, but I think he found the actual train most exciting. He's not super familiar with Astrid Lindgren's characters. Sally was very curious all along. They've also gotten rid of the evil dragon at the end of the ride and replaced it with a nicer version so no one got scared.

Visiting Karlsson på Taket (Karlsson on the Roof)! Junibacken sure is a great place to take the whole family, but I think we're more fond of the children's area in Tekniska Museet. Junibacken is more of a "play neatly" place. Beautiful environment with a lot of details, but when it comes down to the physical playing part there's not that much to do. At Tekniska you get to test and try things and learn how they work. Combining exploring and playing is more fun to me.

The highlight of the day was all the boats outside. We spent a lot of time on this bench. Would've been cheaper (and probably more appreciated) to just go sit by the dock :)

And now we've got a mission ahead of us: Get Gillis interested in Astrid Lindgren's characters so we won't have to deal with all the hysterical Youtube-videos with people trying out different toys (such as Ryans Toys Review, even though he's a very entertaining YouTuber). We're giving Pippi Långstrump (Pippi Longstocking) the first go!
