... På er! Idag har vi vaknat upp till 2016 och jag gjorde det i en säng med två barn tätt intill mig och min Odd. Jag vaknade med ett leende på läpparna trots lite sömn. Vad kul vi hade igår! Vid fyra kom våra gäster, Odds båda brorsor med familj samt Willy och Frida och lilla Milton (Frida är dessutom gravid igen).

Värdparet såg ut såhär. Jag körde en topp i sammet och kjol i skinn, både från Lindex. Jag hann lägga lite make men håret är "två dagar" och ofixat men tiden rann iväg och jag körde torrschampo och hårklämma.

Odd ogillar att posera leendes (se bild ovan) så vi tog en till som är lite mer oss :-)

Barnen röjde och vid fem blev det middag för gänget. Odd hade gjort margaritas-pizzor med deg från pizzerian nära oss och sedan blev det glass till efterrätt. Succé!

Efter barnmiddagen så klädde vi alla på oss och gick till fotbollsplanen bredvid och sköt raketer. Gillis skrek MERA och Sally sov sig igenom varenda fyrverkeri. Tecken på att man är barn nummer 2 och van med ljud he he...

Sedan hem igen och alla barnen bytte om till pyjamas och sedan blev det film i tv-rummet. Har ingen bild jag kan visa med det kan ha varit det finaste jag sett. Sju småttingar i soffan med varsitt gosedjur. Sally satt i ena kusinens knä. Kunde inte låta mig att klämma mig in i barnhögen och andas in djupt. Där och då ville jag ha ett dussin barn till. Så mysigt.

Därefter nattade varje familj i varsitt rum och efter en timma hade vi lyckats få alla att sova och då blev det middag. Odd gratinerade humrar och så blev det oxfilé med potatisgratäng till varmrätt. Till efterrätt gjorde Odd créme brule.. Himmelskt!

Frida och Willy! Vi körde poker tills 12-slaget och det firade vi precis utanför dörren. Gillis vaknade precis innan så han var med och pussades och skrek "mera raketer!". Alla andra barn sov som stockar trots ljudet.

Var lite extra kär i min man igår, det var länge sedan jag såg honom i skjorta och kavaj och han är så fin i det. Det här var förresten vårt fjärde nyår tillsammans.

Sedan fortsatte pokerturneringen, jag vann dom första fyra omgångarna (!). Jag har dock noll pokerface så jag försökte dölja med goggels och keps, gick sådär haha! Vid halv tre inatt var det tyst i huset, jag kände mig så tacksam över vårt fina hus och att alla fick plats. Det är så jag vill ha det, ha vänner över ofta. På morgonen vid åtta samlades vi i tv-rummet, jag hämtade upp frukost och kaffe och så blev det mer film och mys.

Hur var er nyårsafton?

Happy New Year! Woke up to 2016 in a bed with two children and my husband Odd right next to me. Had a smile on my face even though I didn't get enough sleep. We had so much fun yesterday! Our guests came over at 4 - both of Odd's brothers with their families and Willy, Frida and little Milton. (Frida is actually pregnant again).

The hosting couple went for this look. I wore a velvet top and a leather skirt, both from Lindex. I had a brief moment to put makeup on but I didn't have enough time for the hair. It's a classic 2-day-look saved by dry schampoo and a hair pins.

Odd doesn't like posing with a smile on his face (see above) so we went for a look that's a bit more "us" :)

The kids played like crazy and at five it was time for dinner with the whole gang. Odd made margherita pizzas with dough from the local pizzeria and then we had ice cream for dessert. Such a success!

After the children's dinner we all got dressed and walked down to the soccer field next to us to light and watch fireworks. Gillis shouted MORE and Sally managed to sleep through the whole show. Things like this makes it so obvious she's the second child, so used to noises and sounds he he...

Then we went back home and all the kids got into their PJ's before it was time for a movie in the TV-room. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of that setting, but it might have been the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Seven little ones in the couch with one stuffed animal each. Sally sat in her cousin's lap. Couldn't stop myself from getting cozy with the kids and just enjoy the moment. Right then and there I wanted a dozen more children. So cozy!

After that every family got a chance to say goodnight in their own rooms and after an hour all kids had fallen asleep and that meant time for dinner. Odd made gratinated lobsters and second came sirloin with potato gratin and lastly creme brulee for dessert. Divine!

Frida and Willy! We had a poker game going until midnight and greeted the new year just outside our door. Gillis woke up right before it was time for 2016, so he joined us shouting "more fireworks" and provided us with kisses. The other kids slept the whole night through even though there was a loud show of fireworks going on outside.

Yesterday I was a little extra in love with my husband. It's been so long since I saw him all dressed up in a shirt and jacket and it suits him so well. By the way, this was our fourth New Year's celebration together.

Then we continued the poker game, I won the first four rounds (!). I've got the worst poker face though so I tried hiding my excitement behind goggles and a cap, don't know if it worked haha! At 2:30 in the morning the house was quiet. I felt so grateful for our lovely home and that it can hold this many people This is what I want every day to be like, friends coming over all the time. In the morning we all gathered in the TV-room, curled up in the couch and had breakfast and coffee while watching another movie.
