... Jag har ju lovat er att visa min walk in closet!

Det blev minst sagt problem med den när vi flyttade in. Enligt ritningarna så skulle den vara cirka 10 kvm och snetak på ena kortsidan. Jag mailade med företaget Mirro som skulle bygga den och de skickade en skiss på hur allt skulle se ut. Dock så inser jag när vi flyttar in att den inte alls ser ut så. Plantritningen stämmer inte alls. Den är mindre, har betonggolv och väldigt mycket snetak. Kontaktar Mirro som snabbt som attan lyckas ta fram en ny byggskiss och kommer redan dagen efter vi flyttar in och bygger allt på några timmar. Alltså fantastiskt service. Min WIC blev alltså inte som jag hade tänkt mig från början men det blev det bästa möjliga som gick att göra på ytan så jag är nöjd ändå.

... I've promised to show you my walk in closet!

We've had some issues with it since moving in. According to the floor plan it was going to be ca 10 m sq with a slanted roof on one side. I emailed Miro, the building company, and they sent me the blueprints for how everything would look. But when I moved in, I realized that it looked completely different. The floor plan wasn't true at all. This one is smaller, has a concrete floor and the roof is a lot more slanted. I contacted Miro that were quick as anything in drawing up a new plan and the next day, they came over and started building. Fantastic service. So my WIC didn't turn out the way I thought it would but it's the best possible one I could have given the space so I'm happy anyways.

This is what it looked like when I moved in, can you understand how panicked I felt? Mirro put up a wall at the back to make the room more square, I'd never crawl all the way back there for storage anyways.

They're putting in draws and a lot of storage. On the short side there are three drawers, two slots and on the right side there are four more slots. You can't see it in the picture, but there's a hanger that you can pull out there. Kind of hard to explain.

There are four "closets" where you can hang things. Two for dresses and two four blouses/jackets. And then two drawers. I'm covering the concrete floor with carpet. It's taken some time because I want the exact same carpet as we have on the rest of the upstairs floor, dark brown.

Here are some after pictures. There will be better pictures once the carpet is there! Really, a huge thank-you to Mirro for building a storage friendly area in that weird space. It went from being a weird cupboard with concrete floor to a perfect place for all my clothes.

... And speaking of clothes, my stylist Jennifer is coming over for the first time today to go through all of my clothes and start all over with getting me fashion basics, so exciting!

Såhär såg det ut när jag flyttade in, förstå paniken. Mirro sätter upp en vägg längst in för att göra rummet lite mer fyrkantigt, jag skulle ändå aldrig krypa in längst in och lägga kläder.

Det sätts in in utdragbara lådor och väldigt mycket förvaringsplats. På kortsidan så är det som ni ser, tre utdragbara, två fack och på högra sidan så är det fyra "fack" till. Sedan det som ni inte ser är en hängare för galgar som går att dra ut. Lite svårt att förklara.

Fyra "garderober" för att hänga. Två fungerar bra för klänningar och två för blusar/jackor. Och så två lådor som går att dra ut. På betonggolvet så ska det till en heltäckningsmatta. Dock har det tagit lite tid för jag vill såklart ha exakt samma som vi har på hela övervåningen, mörkbrun.

Och här är några bilder efteråt. Det kommer bättre bilder när heltäckningsmattan är lagd! Verkligen, stort tack Mirro för att ni kunde platsbygga förvaring på det mest märkliga stället. Från att vara en skubb med betonggolv så blev det perfekt plats för alla mina kläder.
