Husets färger | Isabella Löwengrips blogg

Jag inser att jag har en rätt späckad vecka. Imorgon väntar inspelning av en tv-reklam, på kvällen medverkar jag i en paneldebatt om kvinnors företagande hos Företagarna. Torsdag ledig med Sally och ska på babysim. Fredag intervju med DN, lördag morgon medverkan i Nyhetsmorgon. Allt är bara kul men allt är också prestationer. Prestera framför en kamera, på en scen, framför en journalist och sedan i direktsändning. Podden spelades in igår. Också prestation. Får försöka kompensera nästa vecka med mer "kontor-dagar" då jag kan såsa runt osminkad och jobba bakom en skärm och snicksnacka med kollegorna.

Över till något annat. Vi har ju nämligen ett hus som vi får nycklarna till om två veckor (!). Fast vi flyttar inte in förens i december. Jag har faktiskt inte gått in i det mentalt än för då hade det blivit för mycket att tänka på. Odd drar det största lasset samt Ida som hjälper oss med inredningen. Jag har sagt att jag bara vill ha alternativ. Blir tokig annars av alla val.

Här kommer då några färger som Ida valt ut:

Jag valde att låta bilderna vara oredigerade med flit för att färgerna ska bli rätt. Ovan ser ni tre olika alternativ till varje barnrum. Till vänster tre färger till Gillis rum och höger spalt tre färger till Sallys rum. Tanken är att halva rummen ska målas, den nedre halvan. Och där snetaket börjar, där blir det vitt. Ida har hämtat provburkar från Alcro så när vi får nycklarna ska vi testa vilken nyans som blir finast.

Vi kommer att köra Silverpil i vardagsrum/kök (öppet). Och färgen Snö som husets vita bas i resten av rummen. Vårt sovrum har vi inte bestämt än. Trots att allting känns rätt mycket nu så längtar jag så otroligt tills vi flyttar. Det kommer bli ett meck med allt såklart men Odd och jag är rätt vana vid att det händer mycket saker på kort tid och vi är duktiga på att hantera det. Eller. Nu ljög jag. Odd är bra på hantera det. Jag är bra på att ha många jobb-bollar i luften och Odd är bra på att "få ihop" vardagens planering. Och han är lugn inför allt. Därför är jag så lugn gällande huset.

I'm realizing I've got a pretty busy schedule this week. Shooting for a TV-commercial tomorrow and participating in a debate on the topic business and women at Företagarna in the evening. Thursday is Sally-day and time for baby swim. Then my calendar says interview with DN on Friday and I'm making an appearance in "Nyhetsmorgon" Saturday morning. All of it is fun of course, but then again jobs like these put pressure on you. You have to deliver on set, in front of a camera or journalist and some of the sets will be broadcasted live too. Moving on: Yesterday we recorded the new podcast. Also demanding. Next week I'll try to compensate this week with more behind-the-screen work at the office, hanging out with my colleagues and leaving my face makeup-free.

Now to something completely different. Guess you're all pretty aware of the fact that we'll soon be moving to a new house! We're getting the keys in two weeks already, but we won't move until December. I'm trying not to dedicate too much of my mental energy thinking about the move because there's so much going on right now anyways. I know Odd is putting a lot of effort into it though, and Ida (our interior designer) is also quite busy. I've just said that I want options to make it easier for myself - take out what's not interesting and leave me to choose from what she likes.

I left the photos unedited to do the colors justice. The once at the top are three options for the childrens' rooms - the three ones to the left are for Gilli's room and the three ones to the right for Sally's. We're thinking we only want to paint the lower half of the wall in one of those colors leaving the upper half, where the sloping ceiling starts, white. Ida brought us some samples from Alcro so when we're handed the keys we can start test-painting. The kitchen/living room (open space between them) will be painted in "Silverpil". In the rest of the rooms we're planning to use Snö, a nice basic white, but we haven't made any decisions for our own bedroom yet.

There's a lot going on at the moment, but I'm still so excited about the move. We've got quite a workload ahead of us, but both me and Odd are used to keeping several balls in the air at the same time so I'm feeling pretty confident about everything. Or wait, that was probably not fully true. Odd can handle several things at the same time. He's the one who puts bits and pieces together and make our daily planning work, while I'm the one standing next to him juggling. He's also very comfortable taking that responsibility. Think that's why I'm not freaking out about the house and the move.
