Samtalet i P3 med Emanuel Karlsten gick bra! Fick en del frågor på sidan som vi inte hann ta upp under sändning men svarar på en här:

Svar: Jag står lite med ett ben i varje, mest mest som liberal och lite konservativ. Det liberala i mig sätter individens frihet först. Staten ska ha så lite makt som möjligt och över rätt saker. Jag vill bestämma själv över hur Odd och jag fördelar föräldrarledigheten, jag vill kunna underlätta processen med att anställa och sparka beroende på hur marknaden ser ut så att jag vågar satsa överhuvudtaget. Dock frågor som rättsväsendet ska vara statligt såklart. Politik ska skötas så lokalt som det går. Jag tror på att underlätta för företagen är ett svar på bättre välfärdsamhälle med fler i arbete. Det konservativa i mig vill ha kvar monarkin, ogillar trenden mot ett könlöst samhälle, eller att vi ska instifta ett tredje juridiskt kön som tex Fi vill. Så som jag ser det, står Moderaterna för en ganska så lik mix. Men sedan är det ju såklart frågor som jag inte håller med om. Jag är ju inte för euron vilket moderaterna är. Jag röstar på Moderaterna för att i det stora hela så tror jag på det är den politiken som fungerar bäst. Arbete är den viktigaste fråga. Den ligger till grund till allt i ett land. Dessutom känner jag stort förtroende för Reinfeldt, Bildt och Borg. Dock så leder Centerpartiet i frågan om entreprenörskap och att satsa på små/mellan-stora bolag. Och det är ju min hjärtefråga.

Så svar på din fråga så är jag moderat. Jag kommer att rösta på Moderaterna till Riksdagen och landstingsvalet men kan tänka mig centerpartiet i kommunalvalet.

The talk in P3 with Emanuel karlsten went well! I got a bunch of questions that I didn't have time to deal with during the broadcast but I'll reply to one here:

I've often found that you're more conservative than liberal Isabella, how do you view attaching yourself to a party (M in this case) only because you are "used" to it since you (myself included) was a member of the youth group and not take part in the journey to becoming an adult and the different perspectives this brings. I changed to KD this fall because I've realized that I don't agree with all of the liberal moves I find that M takes, but that doesn't mean that everyone "grows out of their party". THANKS!

Answer: I have a foot in both camps, mostly I'm liberal but I'm also conservative. My liberal tendencies make me place individual freedom first. The state should have as little power as possible and only when it comes to the right things. I want to be able to decide how Odd and I divide up our parental leave, I want to make it easier to hire and fire people based on the market so that I can start up new ventures in the first place. Obviously the judiciary bodies need to remain with the state. Politics should be as local as possible I think that making things easier for companies creates a better welfare society with more people in employment. My conservative tendencies want to keep the monarchy, dislikes the trend towards a sexless society, or that we should legally recognize the existence of a third gender as Fi are suggesting. The way I see it the Moderates stand for a similar mic. I vote for them because I think their policies are the most successful. Work is the most important question. It is the foundation of the country. And I have a lot of faith in Reinfeldt, Bildt and Borg. Though I have to say that the Centre party are leading in questions of entrepreneurship and boosting small and middle weight companies. And that's a question that is close to my heart.

So to answer your question I'm a moderate. I will be voting for the Moderate party in the parliamentary and county council elections but would consider the Centre party for the municipality election.
