Under gymnasie-tiden var jag en riktig idéspruta. Jag fyllde till och med en tjock idébok hemma. Jag såg allt som möjligheter till att förbättra varje ”dålig” produkt jag stötte på. Några av mina idéer blev verklighet men 99% fick stanna i idéboken. Som tex den inbyggda kroppstorken i duschen. Det är så många som under skoltiden kläcker fantastiska idéer men som aldrig förverkligar sina drömmar.

En som däremot vågade ta steget är grundaren av det enormt framgångsrika svenska klockmärket Daniel Wellington , Filip Tysander. Han är en stor förebild och hans företag förväntas omsätta över 1,5 miljarder i år och har idag över 200 anställda på kontor runt om i världen.

Apropå anställda: mina kollegor kommer i år få en klocka från Daniel Wellington i julklapp från mig. Vi har julbord i morgon så tanken är att de ska få den då, jag hoppas inte allt för många av dem hinner läsa detta (annars får ni låtsas bli överraskande).

During my high school years I was such an inventive spirit. I even had a "book of ideas" laying around the house where I wrote something on every page. I saw room for improvement in all products that came my way. Some of my ideas are now further developed, but 99% got to stay in the idea book. Such as the bulit-in body blow-dryer for the shower. I know there's a lot of people out there who's got all these amazing ideas when they're in that age, but never make them a reality.

Someone who did dare to put thoghts into actions though is the incredibly successful founder of the Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington - Filip Tysander. He's a great role model and his company expects a turnover of SEK 1,5 billion this year and he's now the employer of over 200 people worldwide.

Speaking of employees: My colleagues will get their own Daniel Wellington watch as a Christmas gift from me.
