Imorse medverkade jag tillsammans med Pingis i Nyhetsmorgon. Jag förstod inte att vi hade börjat förrens typ två minuter in i sändning så jag måste ha sett väldigt inåtvänd ut ha ha! Var nära på att ställa frågan "har vi börjat" men jag bestämde mig sedan att utgå från det och vakna till liv. Tur det. Vi pratade om privatekonomi i och med vår podd men tiden går ju så fort så vi hann inte med allt. Vi tog upp några ekonomiska förändringar som sker nästa år:

1. Rotavdraget går från 50% till 30%. Det betyder att renoverar du för 50 000 kronor kan du dra av 10 000 kronor mindre nästa år.

2. Rut-avdraget ändras från 50 000 kronor avdragsgillt till 25 000 kronor för den som inte fyllt 65 år. Läxhjälp slopas helt.

3. Bensinpriset höjs med 44 öre/liter och Diesel 48 öre/liter.

4. Trängselavgifterna höjs. I Stockholm införs det avgift på Essingeleden och det tidigare max-beloppet på 60 kronor/dygn blir 105 kronor.

Allt detta ovan sker för att ge tillskott till statskassan på 5 miljarder kronor (alla höjningar är inte nämna). Jag är ju inget fan av höjningarna precis. Jag tycker att det slår på människor som behöver avdragen för att underlätta vardagen.

Hur som helst. Det får räcka med ekonomi för dagen! Det är ju ändå lördag. Och nu är hela familjen inpackad i bilen och vi är på väg mot Norrköping för att övernatta hos Robin och Matilda ikväll. Himla mysigt.

This morning Pingis and I were two of the guests on "Nyhetsmorgon". It took me about two minutes to realize that the cameras where on, so I must have looked pretty off at first, ha ha! I almost said "are we on yet?", but then I thought I would probably understand if the cameras were rolling after a while anyways... Good thing I kept quiet. We talked about personal economy since that's what we probably discuss the most in our podcast and unfortunately time went by pretty quick so we didn't have much time to touch on other topics. We especially focused on some economic changes that can be expected for next year:

1. The ROT tax deduction (a tax dedcuction for labour costs on property renovation work) will be reduced from 50 % to 30 %. In absolute numbers that means that if you are spending SEK 50 000 on renovation, you will be able to deduct SEK 10 000 less than you could this year.

2. The RUT tax deduction (a tax deduction for domestic service work) will no longer be deductible for SEK 50 000, but at maximum SEK 25 000 for people under the age of 65. Homework help will no longer be deductible at all.

3. The price for gas will be increased by SEK 0,44 per litre and for diesel the price increases with SEK 0,48 per litre.

4. The congestion tax (a tax imposed on vehicles entering and exiting Stockholm city) will also be raised. In Stockholm there will be a new toll-fee for Essingeleden and the maximum amount per day, that now is set to SEK 60 per day, will be raised to SEK 105 per day.

These changes are supposed to yield SEK 5 billions to public treasury (I'm not mentioning all the new policies above). I can't say I'm a big fan of these changes. Some people need the deductions to make their every day lives add up.

I tried to get a shot in front of the big screen but we were just about to start airing so this one was the only one I got... Bad timing in general today! I'm wearing a shirt from Sandro and leather pants from Part Two.

Anyways, enough about economy for today! Lets not forget it's Saturday. Me and the family are now seated in the car, heading towards Norrköping where we're spending the night at Robin and Matilda's place. Looking forward!
