Igårkväll så medverkade jag i en paneldebatt med Företagarna om just kvinnors företagande. En ny studie visar på att det sjunker igen så vi pratade om varför det är så. I publiken stod många politiker och entreprenörer. Jag tog upp att en stor problematik ligger i sjukpeng och mammapeng. För det grundar sig i den inkomst du har men många vet att majoriteten av dom som startar företag har inte möjlighet att ta ut lön första året, det gör att man inte vågar satsa för du har ingen socialt skyddnät. Jag skriver gärna mer om det senare men nu ska jag iväg på babysim med Johanna!

Yesterday evening I was part of a debate on the topic female entrepreneurship held by Företagarna. A new study have shown that the number of female entrepreneurs is decreasing again, opening up for discussion about why that is , which also was our main focus question. Many politicians and entrepreneurs came to listen. I argued that the cause of this lies in maternity- and sick pay. How much your compensation will be is relative to your salary which most of you already know. Furthermore, your earnings during your first year as you start your own business are most often not great enough to allow you any salary. In other words we are missing a social safety-net for entrepreneurs here, so there is no wonder we are witnessing a negative trend. I would like to write more about this issue, but there is baby swim coming up with Johanna now so I have to save that for later.
