Det har varit full rulle idag. När jag kom hem från dagens möten så har vi röjt med kartonger i garaget så nu kanske det är 20 kartonger kvar. Ändå bra jobbat på en vecka tycker jag! Nu ska ni få se vårt TV-rum (imorgon visar jag badrummet!). Det det är inte klart men man börjar se hur det kommer att se ut. Så här såg i rummet ut innan när vi flyttade in:

Som ni ser har vi nya golv, vi målade väggarna vita och vi har satt upp en lång mediabänk på 4 m från Ikea. I januari kommer det luckor från superfront. Bänken är mest till som förvaring till kidsens leksaker. Jag såg på Äntligen Hemma när ena programledaren fotade en bild på tex Lego och satte bilden på lådan. På så sätt blev det enkelt för alla att plocka undan men också hitta. Det vore ju något. Dock är jag inte så pysslig. Hur laminerar man en bild?! Heter det så?

Vi köpte en projektor istället för en TV, jag var lite rädd för att det skulle låta mycket men det är inget jag har stört mig på. Bilden är toppen nu måste jag bara lära mig hur den fungerar. Jag älskar förresten ramen kring duken. Jag tror att Odd hittade den på Elgiganten.

Vår soffa är i från EM möbler. Som vanligt är det väldigt svårt att hitta en soffa som både är skön att halvt ligga i och samtidigt fin men på EM kunde vi bygga soffan själv utifrån våra behov. Modellen heter Florida och vi valde att ha ett öppet avslut på ena sidan och en divan på andra. Vi har inte bestämt valet av soffbord, det är rätt trångt i mellan så jag funderar på småbord man liksom kan skjuta in, det blir en bra plats för godisskålen. Det som saknas i soffan är andra kuddar och mysiga plädar och läslampor i varje hörn.

Här ser ni rummets andra del, inte heller färdigt. Blir så roligt när vi får tågbordet från Brio. Det ligger hos posten just nu. Nu blir det nattning och sedan julshopping med Sheila. Det saknas några klappar och det känns riktigt kul att komma iväg ikväll och strosa runt. Jag har inte träffat Sheila på evigheter!

It's been a busy day. After my meetings it was time to get through some more boxes and put them in the garage, think we have about 20 boxes left now. Well done in one week I must say! Now I want to show you our TV-room (tomorrow it's time for the bathroom!). Okay, still some finishing touches left but I think you'll get the picture. When we moved in this was what we had to work with:

As you can tell we laid new floors, painted the walls white and installed a long media bench (4 meters) from Ikea. We've ordered doors for it from Superfront, expected delivery in January. It's main purpose will be storing the kid's toys. I got inspired watching Äntligen Hemma (Swedish interior show on TV) where one of the hosts took a picture of Lego and put the picture on a box. Makes it easier to find what you're looking for and to tidy up when you're done playing. I like that idea, but I'm not that handy. How do you laminate a photo?! Is laminate even the word?

We also bought a projector instead of a TV. At first I was a little worried it would make annoying sounds but I haven't noticed anything so far. The quality of the picture is great, now I just have to learn how to use it. By the way - love the screen-frame. Think Odd found it at Elgiganten.

Our couch is from EM möbler. It's not an easy task finding a couch that's both slouch-friendly and pretty to look at, but at EM we could build our own couch after our preferences. The model is called Florida and we decided to go for an open end on one side and a chaise lounge on the other. We're not sure about what kind of coffee table to go for yet. There's not that much space to work with so I'm thinking a nesting table could be a smart move. As long as there's room for a candy bowl. Other things still missing in the couch are pillows, some cozy blankets and reading lights in every corner.

Here's the other part of the room, not fully equipped yet either. I'm so excited about our Brio-railway table. It's at the post office right now. I'm saying nighty-night to the kids now and then I'm going Christmas shopping with Sheila. Need to get a few more gifts and getting out of the house to stroll around for the rest of the evening feels good. Haven't seen Sheila in forever!
