Hur kan något som är så nära vara så jobbigt att vänta på? Idag fick vi heller inte börja plocka i all kartonger för oljan på golvet hade fortfarande inte torkat. Det blev något fel så alla rum slipades om och oljades igen. Gah. Jag vill ju in och lägga mig på golvet och liksom andas in och känna att det här är vårt hem. På måndag flyttar vi in i all fall, då är det klart med marginal.

Vårt blivande sovrum. Älskar färgerna. Många har frågat vad vi har för trägolv och jag ska ta reda på det och återkomma. Vi har hur som helst detta överrallt förutom hall/kök där det är gråa klinker samt badrummen då. Så glad över att vi hann lägga nya golv, det blir så snyggt när det är samma i alla rum/plan.

Sedan åkte vi till MOS för att äta lunch och strosa lite. Vi åt på Printz, väldigt goda korvar. Sally invigde sin nya coola hakklapp från Things By Me. Ser ut som en tuff tröja men det är bara tyg fram, man knyter i nacken.

Under lunchen såg vi att tomten satt bredvid så vi berättade för Gillis att det här var den perfekta tidpunkten att lämna in hans önskelista! Vi hämtade papper och penna och sedan gjorde Gillis en teckning till tomten och på frågan vad han önskade sig blev det bilar och Spindelmannen. Nu vet du det tomten. Efter det våldgästade vi Odds ena bror och våra barn lekte ihop hos dom. Vi är ju lite rotlösa just nu utan ett hem och vi vill ha julstämning. Min svägerska hade bakat pepparkakor och så planerade vi in julafton med släkten. I år ska vi fira hos oss . Så stort. Men först får gärna golvet torka och alla möbler levereras :- )

Nu ska Odd och jag vara osociala men ligga nära i hotellsängen. Jag ska se Skavlan med Prinsessan Madeleine och Odd vill köra Netflix.

We couldn't start unpacking today either, the floors are still not dry... Something went wrong with the first oiling session so they had to sand the floors again and start over. Gah. I know there's basically just hours left before we move in (Monday is still the big day) but it feels like I have to wait another million years. I just want to lay down on the floor and breathe in the atmosphere of our new home.

Our soon to be bedroom. Love the colors. I've gotten some questions about what the floor is called so I'll try to figure that out as soon as possible. We're using the same flooring in the whole house except in the hallway/kitchen where we've got gray tiles. And of course things also look a bit different in the bathrooms. I'm so happy we had time laying new floors, I really like it when they're the same in every room and upstairs/downstairs.

After the house we went to MOS for lunch and some strolling around. We ate at Printz, great sausages. Sally tried her new bib from Things By Me. It looks like a cool shirt but it's actually just fabric in front and then you tie it behind the neck.

During lunchtime we also spotted Santa right next to us, so we told Gillis that this was the perfect moment to hand over his Christmas wish list! We got him pen and paper, which resulted in a drawing that he gave Santa. He also told him he's wishing for cars and Spiderman. So now Santa has all the information he needs. After that we made a surprise visit to one of Odd's brothers and the kids had a little playdate. Since we're "homeless" at the moment we do whatever we can to be a part of some homey Christmas spirit. My sister in law had just baked gingerbreads and we also planned a little for Christmas Eve with the family. We're arranging everything at our place this year. So exciting! Just hoping the floors are dry by then and that those delayed furniture deliveries want to show up soon :)

Odd and I are spending the night side by side in our hotel bed, but we're entertaining ourselves separately. He's watching Netflix and I'm catching up on an episode of Skavlan where princess Madeleine is one of the guests.
