När man ska renovera så måste man liksom räkna in att något kommer att krångla. Vi var helt inställda på att det skulle vara badrum men dom blir klara i veckan. Fantastiska hantverkare. Det vi dock inte hade räknat med var att vi skulle behöva byta ut alla golv på grund att det var blandat laminat och parkett och vi vill gärna ha likadant golv överallt. Så nu har vi 150 kvm trägolv beställt och ska läggas på måndag. Vi är fortfarande inom tidsramen tack och lov.

Jag tänkte visa er fler möbler som vi kommer att ha. Ni har ju sett tv:rummet , matsalsdelen och barnrummen . Här ovan är alltså vardagsrums-delen bredvid matsalsbordet. Vi kommer att ha två soffor emot varandra. När jag såg dom runda grejerna på bilden utbrast jag till Ida "Vad ska vi ha två knäckebröd till?!"

Men dom var ju faktiskt väldigt coola! Jag har egentligen lite svårt för prynadssaker mer än praktiska såsom ljushållare men jag litar på Ida . Hon har koll.

Och sovrummet som är mörkgrått får dessa möbler:

Jag älskar kombinationen av mörkgråa väggar, beige/guld och svart. Det blir ett rätt pampigt men ändå mysigt rum. Ja så status nu är följande: Köket ska monteras klart, sista fix på badrummet (duschrummet klart), golv ska läggas samt måla klart i vardagsrum. Allt på åtta dagar. Det är olika företag som gör varje sak, därför känns det inte orimligt. Men hade inte Odd varit där varje dag och synkat alla hade det inte gått så fort. Heja världens bästa man!

When you're planning for a house renovation, you have to prepare yourself for setbacks from the very beginning. For our part, we were convinced that the bathrooms where going to be our most problematic project, but the renovation firm finished them this week. Amazing people. What we didn't take into account before we got started though, was that we would have to change all flooring. The old ones were both laminate and parquet and we would prefer having the same kind of flooring in the whole house. So now we've ordered 150 m2 of hardwood floor, waiting to be installed on Monday. We're still not stretching the time frame, thank God.

I want to show you some more of our furniture. So far you've seen the TV-room , the dining area and the children's rooms . Above is the living room area, next to the dining table. As you can see we'll have two couches facing each other. When I saw the round things on the picture I couldn't help but ask Ida "What are we supposed to do with two Swedish crispbreads?!".

But then I gave them a second chance and now I find them really cool. I'm not a big fan of decorative things in general, other than maybe candle holders (they're still useful ), but I trust Ida . She knows what she's doing.

And the bedroom, painted dark gray, will be furnished with these pieces:

I love the combo of dark gray, beige/gold and black walls. The room is going to feel kind of grand, but yet cozy. This is what's left for the remaining eight days of the renovation: Installing the last modules of the kitchen, some finishing touches in the bathroom (the shower room is done), lay floors and finish the painting in the living room. We've hired different firms for every "project", that's why I still feel like it's doable. But if Odd hadn't been there every day to organize and coordinate the work I doubt that things would have progressed this fast. Go best husband in the world!
